Piano Lessons
Play on a Grand Piano
All lessons are conducted on our Kawai KG2D Grand Piano in a welcoming home studio environment. Students gain familiarity with a concert instrument, helping to build technique and confidence.
AMEB Exams & Eisteddfods
Students are supported in preparing for AMEB piano and theory exams, as well as participating in local eisteddfods if they choose to pursue performance or assessment pathways.
Music Theory Included
Every student develops fluency in reading music, understanding rhythm, and grasping foundational theory. AMEB Theory exam preparation is also available.
Lessons for all
We welcome students aged 4 to adult from absolute beginners to those returning after a break. Lessons are tailored one-on-one to match your level, learning style, and musical goals.

Piano Lane is a home-based studio located in Nobby Beach on the Gold Coast, just a short stroll from local cafés and the beach. We offer one-on-one piano lessons in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Meet your teacher - Kathryn
Kathryn has played the piano for over 30 years and is a graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium (2008) where she studied under renowned pianist Jenni Flemming. With over 15 years of teaching experience, Kathryn is passionate about helping students build confidence, skill, and a lifelong love of music.
